Clear advice when health is affecting work.

HR teams and line managers are often managing complex situations where an employee’s health is affecting attendance, performance, confidence or ability to sustain their role.

I provide occupational therapy assessments and reports that help managers understand the functional impact of health difficulties at work. The focus is on what the employee needs to do in their role, what is getting in the way, and what practical adjustments may support safer and more sustainable work.

This may include advice about duties, workload, working hours, phased return plans, communication, supervision, pacing, fatigue management, equipment, ergonomic adjustments, neurodiversity related support and environmental changes.

Where cognitive difficulties are affecting work, recommendations may include strategies for memory, attention, organisation, planning, prioritisation, task initiation, task completion and managing interruptions.

My reports are written in clear, practical language to support decision making. They help clarify what may be reasonable, what may need to be reviewed, and how an employee can be supported while maintaining safe and effective work.

The aim is to help HR teams and line managers feel more confident in responding to health related work difficulties in a fair, balanced and practical way.
